Her grandmothers taught her to sew, embroider and do crafts starting around age 4. Now she runs her own fiber arts studio, "Howling Threads Studio," on Central Street in downtown Bangor. She teaches children 5 years old and up to sew, to embroider, and to do fiber crafts after school and during vacations. When Tree is not teaching, she makes monster bags, wearable art and embroidered wall hangings which she sells at Metropolitan Soul, also in downtown Bangor. ARTIST STATEMENT: "My clock was inspired by this year's theme of time. I wanted people to not just think about the hours of the day, but to also enjoy the seasons of the year."
