ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Valerie is relatively new to the Bangor area, having moved here with her husband Don one year ago from the Phoenix, AZ area.  Valerie is originally from Brussels, Belgium, but has also lived in Australia and Indonesia before coming to the US almost 10 years ago.  Her talents are as varied as the mediums she uses.  She does painting, paper tole, decoupage and millefiori creations from polymer clay.  While her work is mostly a hobby, Valerie has sold several of her pieces, including an elegant evening bag that was fashioned from an ostrich egg. 

Valerie's goal is to find a job where she can utilize her talents as well as teach adults and/or children to share her love of arts and crafts.
