ABOUT THE ARTIST:

After living most of her life being told she had no artistic talent, imagine the surprise in the blessing of becoming an artist!   In 1999 Pat recognized her talent, and her ability to create has grown ever since.  Many people who appreciate her work call her a "green artist" because many of the objects found in her art are recycled.

Pat has shared her talents by being a volunteer art teacher at Temple Academy in Waterville.  Whenever she can, she is very willing to teach others.  One of her hopes is to educate people to the fact that art comes in many styles and forms.  She also readily agrees that beauty is bountiful and is all around us, if we only take the time to look. 

Pat was born on August 20, 1954 in Hanover, MD, and lived in Maryland until her move to Maine.  She has been living in Winslow for thirteen years, and shares her space with her husband and her cats and dogs.  Her daughter, Michelle Hudson, lives on her own in Maryland.

ARTIST STATEMENT:  "If in my lifetime, I am able to live a Godly life and share beauty, love, and happiness, then I will have achieved my goal in life.  Only then will I have been successful."
